#LunchBoxChallenge Launches to Support Local Restaurants
Did you know April is Construction and Skilled Trades Month? To kick off the fourth annual Construction Month, the British Columbia Construction Association (BCCA) and partner Vancouver Regional Construction Association have launched the #LunchBoxChallenge to commemorate the hard working men and women of the construction industry and show support to local restaurants.
The BCAA has offered 100 grants totalling $37,500 for construction crews to enjoy a free lunch from a favourite local restaurant. It’s an amazing initiative that has provided some much needed support to many local restaurants that have had a tough time during the pandemic.
Thanks to the #LunchBoxChallenge, our team enjoyed a delicious lunch from In the Beantime Cafe while working on Holland Creek, an upcoming 96-unit apartment building in Ladysmith, BC.
