Project Manager
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction
projects from inception to completion. This role involves planning, coordinating, budgeting, and supervising construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will work closely with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects.

Responsibilities Include:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to establish project requirements and specifications.
- Prepare and present project proposals and budgets to clients and senior
management.
Budget and Cost Management:
- Create and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and financial reporting.
- Review and approve subcontractor invoices and ensure that expenditures align with the approved budget.
- Identify and address potential cost overruns and budgetary concerns promptly.
Schedule Management:
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes and delays.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Quality Assurance and Control:
- Ensure that construction activities adhere to quality standards and comply with building codes and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any quality issues.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and practices on construction sites.
Team Leadership and Supervision:
- Lead and manage construction teams, including subcontractors and field personnel.
- Provide clear direction, support, and feedback to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, resolving conflicts and addressing performance issues as needed.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and providing regular project updates.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including internal teams, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare and deliver project status reports, presentations, and documentation as required.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Address and resolve issues that may arise during the construction process, including unforeseen challenges and changes in scope.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained and kept current.
- Compile and submit final project reports and documentation upon project completion.
Requirements Include:
Education and Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in construction management or related role, with a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and building codes.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions
- Physical Requirements: Ability to visit construction sites and inspect work conditions. Occasional lifting of materials or equipment may be required.
- Travel: Occasional travel to project sites and meetings may be necessary.
- Hours: Full-time position, with potential for extended hours or weekend work depending on project demands.
Compensation:
- Annual salary: $110 k – 130 k.
- Medical and dental benefits available with successful completion of probation period.
- RRSP plan with up to 50% employer match.
