As a business that deals with personal and financial information, they wanted their office to provide an inviting and comfortable atmosphere for their clients. Upon entering the waiting area, customers are welcomed by rich wood grains of book-matched walnut millwork that provide warmth and comfortable textures and a linear electric fireplace that makes the space appear more homelike.

The reception desk features a walnut finish with LED lighting concealed behind beautiful quartzite stone with marble-like grey and copper veining. Behind the reception desk, there is a commercial-grade wall covering featuring the logos and names of the two occupying businesses.

With two businesses occupying the space together, this project presented some unique problems as we had to be mindful of each of their requirements and balance them accordingly while working around existing posts, columns and other restraints of the existing space. In the flex-space, a co-working space between the two offices, we did a custom ceiling treatment consisting of a Douglas fir slate ceiling texture that adds visual interest and dimension to the area.
