The Village on Third – New Multi-Family Development

Westmark Construction is excited to announce a new Nanaimo multifamily project currently in the works. We are proud to be contributing to this significant project with the construction of eight three-storey townhomes in two buildings with a total floor area of 14,820 sq. ft.

Located in Nanaimo’s university district, The Village on Third (at 525 Third Street) is now under construction. The project, led by Hai Yang Estate Developments, will be a part of a larger mixed-use development project on the 4.5 acre property. They will be located in a beautiful, vibrant village full of apartments and student housing featuring modern architecture, designed by D-Architecture, green space and plazas, created by JPH Consultants, as well as including commercial space.

The property is conveniently located in the University District of Nanaimo. mere blocks away from Vancouver Island University and a vibrant downtown core. Other nearby amenities include Nanaimo Aquatic Centre, Nanaimo Ice Centre, dozens of diverse restaurants and cafes, as well as both primary and secondary schools. The commercial spaces within the development will complete the village environment, to be occupied with other services at a later date.

Currently, this multifamily development is in Phase 1 and 2 of a 5-stage process, with a proposed completion date of January 2019.
